The Naturopathic Institute is excited to present the Vibrational Medicine Department as one of the nine departments offered in our Emphasis Certification Program. The Emphasis Certification Program is launching in January 2026 in collaboration with the Embassy of Life Mastery.

Department Overview

Moving deeply into the vibrational aspects of healing, this Emphasis will focus on the study of homeopathic remedies, essential oils, flower remedies, and Gemmotherapy. Students will be able to apply the principles of energy and vibration as a subtle and significant healing tool. When it comes to vibrational therapy, there are numerous tools. Classes will focus on specific remedies for women, children, men, pets, sexual dysfunction, anxiety/depression and more.

Courses Required

To earn an Emphasis Certification in Vibrational Medicine, students are required to take seven core classes and 10 emphasis classes. The Naturopathic Institute’s Emphasis Certification program is registered with the state of Michigan and meets the educational requirements. After taking all the required courses, completing independent studies, and passing the tests, you will earn an Emphasis Certification in Vibrational Medicine.

Vibrational Medicine Emphasis Courses

Not all courses are offered each year. Review the class schedule guide to learn what is available in any given year.

There are 10 Emphasis Courses offered in the Vibrational Medicine Department. You need to take all 10 Emphasis Courses (in combination with the seven core classes above) to earn an Emphasis Certification in the Vibrational Medicine Department:

  • An Introduction to Spagyrics
  • Applying Homeopathy in the Cancer Setting
  • Astrological Flower Essences
  • Essential Oils Every Parent Should Know
  • Homeopathy for Mental Health
  • Homeopathy for Women
  • Plant Stem Cells
  • Sacred Geometry for the Home
  • Sound as a Healer

The oils course will dive deeper into application techniques, how to make your own base oil blends, and even the making of perfumes and seduction blends. Flower Remedies will be available for considering one’s astrological primary remedy, physical application during massage and bodywork, as well as using flowers for healing the family.

Gemmotherapy will explore the use of plant stem cells to reach deeper levels of healing than herbs alone. Gemmotherapy will allow for the introduction of special mineralized rocks used historically as homeopathic preparations, biblically as protection stones, and incorporating them into sound/color therapy, meridian balancing and beyond.

Diploma Students

If you are enrolled in the Natural Health Program, you have already completed some of the core classes required to earn the Vibrational Medicine Emphasis Certification. Below are the additional classes you are required to take, based on the number of years in the program you completed, to earn an Emphasis Certification in the Vibrational Medicine Department.

Emphasis Certification Only (Non-Diploma Students)

You must complete the seven Core Program Classes and the 10 Vibrational Medicine Emphasis Classes to earn an emphasis certificate in the Vibrational Medicine Department.

Personal Development

If you are taking an Emphasis Course for personal development, you will not be responsible for the homework or taking the test.

If you choose to take classes in the Emphasis Program for personal growth, then you are not held to the same academic requirements as Certification Students. Please go to the Emphasis Personal Development Page to fill out and submit the Alumni/Guest Individual Class Registration Form.

2026 Vibrational Medicine Emphasis Course Schedule

1-Day Emphasis Courses are held from 9 am – 5 pm at 503 E. Broadway St., Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858, unless otherwise noted.

Not every Emphasis 1-Day Course will be offered every year. Here are the courses in the Vibrational Medicine Department that are being offered in 2026:

 

Instructor: Dr. Corey Winters, CN, ND

Course Description: Sound itself is a vibration. Understanding how to use it as a healing tool is no longer a futuristic concept. In the class, we will discuss the historical use of sound through architecture, instrumentation and even our own voices. During the class, students will be able to experience and apply this healing modality to each other. Bells, bowls, tuning forks, voice, and special instruments, both ancient and modern, will be demonstrated.

Course Outcomes:

  1. Understand how sound and vibration can be used as energy medicine to support healing in the body and mind.
  2. Learn about how sound has been used for healing throughout history in buildings, music, and voice.
  3. Practice using bells, bowls, tuning forks, and your own voice to create healing sounds.

 

Instructor: Dr. Jaquelynne Featherly, CN, ND

Course Description: With a solid understanding of homeopathy, its principles and practices, one can begin to learn the deeper aspects and proper application of homeopathy for specific areas of interest. This class will focus on the detailed application of wisely choosing remedies that support the healing of people with cancer. A necessary discovering of inherited patterns from our parents and grandparents can help us understand diseases that repeat themselves through family lines. We will also study the effects of modern environmental toxic substances that accelerate people into chronic disease states.

Course Outcomes:

  1. Learn how family history and toxins in the environment can affect health and disease.
  2. Understand how to choose and use homeopathic remedies to support people living with cancer.
  3. Build a deeper knowledge of how homeopathy works and how to apply it in real situations.

Instructor: Dr. April Humphrey, CN, ND

Course Description: If you are new to oils or very experienced, this class will expand your understanding and knowledge greatly. Learn a wide range of helpful information, from how they are made and the great power they hold, with many medicinal benefits, and historical uses. Additionally, learn how to identify high-quality and low-quality oils and learn the safety information every parent should know. You will gain an understanding of the various frequencies of the oils and how they help the body. Included will be detailed descriptions of many highly beneficial oils and why we should be using them, something everyone should know, to help with many ailments. You will receive a nice reference guide/class manual for you to take home so you can easily share the information with your family.

Course Outcomes:

  1. Learn how to tell if an essential oil is good quality and safe to use.
  2. Understand how different oils can help the body through their healing properties and natural energy.
  3. Know how to safely use essential oils at home for common health needs and share what you learn with others.
