Job Overview

The ideal candidate is passionate about therapeutic bodywork, committed to client care, and able to work independently while maintaining a high standard of service. As a contractor in this position, you will have the option of taking clients one-on-one in an office tailored to your schedule, as well as taking 8:30-4:30 days at the on-site wellness for organizations.
Responsibilities
- Provide a variety of massage services (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal, etc.)
- Assess client needs and create personalized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding treatment goals and aftercare
- Manage scheduling and maintain punctuality
Requirements
- Current and valid Massage Therapy License in Michigan
- Liability insurance (required)
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and various massage techniques
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Previous experience preferred but not required
