Emphasis Courses for Personal Enrichment and CEUs
Do you want to learn more about holistic health? Our new Emphasis Classes are open to anyone interested, and you don’t have to take the tests and directed studies that Certification students do. These classes are also open to alumni and individuals seeking continuing education credits (CEUs). In collaboration with the Embassy of Life Mastery, we are offering emphasis classes in the following departments:
- Advanced Bodywork
- Advanced Energy Work
- Advanced Naturopathic Sciences
- Food Revolution
- Herbology
- Holistic Family Wellness
- Homesteading
- Self-Healing
- Vibrational Medicine
Who Can Enroll?
Alumni and guest students seeking personal development or professional CEUs and are not interested in earning a certification, are welcome to attend any classes offered through the Embassy of Life Mastery or the Naturopathic Institute.
What Emphasis Classes are Being Offered?
The Emphasis Certification Program is launching with nine different departments in January 2026. There are over 100 one-day emphasis classes offered in the program across all departments. Each course teaches you something different.
In some courses, you will learn the basics of gardening. In others, you’ll learn how to create your own fermented foods. A few courses cover the key features of becoming a doula, while others teach step-by-step craniosacral therapy.
Both the Embassy of Life Mastery and the Naturopathic Institute value life-long learning. We offer a wide range of Emphasis Classes, ensuring there is something for everyone to learn. However, not all classes will be offered every year. Click below to view our 2026 Emphasis Class Schedule.
How to Register for a class in the Emphasis Certificate Program
To enroll in an Emphasis Class for fun, CEUs, or personal enrichment, all alumni and students must complete the Alumni/Guest Individual Registration Form. Regardless of your student status, all forms must be turned in at least 10 days before the class date with payment.

Those students needing CEUs must indicate this on the Registration Form so that a Certificate of Attendance can be created. Certificate of Attendance documents will be mailed to the student within a few days of the completion of the class.

Please submit your registration form and payment at least 10 days before your scheduled class.
Additional Notes
- We offer 1-Day Emphasis Classes throughout the year; however, most classes are not taught every year.
- The core classes are held on weekends and are a part of our Natural Health or Therapeutic Bodywork Practitioner degree programs.

- The Naturopathic Institute does not offer online courses. We only offer in-person classes at this time.
- If you are taking an emphasis class for personal enrichment/fun, you do not have to complete the test or directed studies in the class.
- If you decide you want to earn the Certification after taking the class, the class(es) you took for personal development will count toward the Certification if you have taken the class within the last two years.
- If you decide to earn the Certification, you will have to:
- Pay the additional fee per class.
- Take the test and complete the directed studies for each class you need to count toward the Emphasis Certification.
