Massage Therapist in Grand Rapids, MI

Schedule: 24-30 hours/week. 3-4 days/week including some Saturdays. Schedule will be booked.

Job Duties:

• Perform consecutive 60-90 minute quality massage therapy sessions & Body Scrubs
• Knowledge of other various modalities preferred (Neuromuscular, Myofascial, Trigger Point, Pre-Natal, Craniosacral, Reiki, Deep Tissue)
• Design specific sessions based on clients individual needs
• Promote the health and wellness benefits to client’s receiving massage therapy on a regular basis
• Maintain accurate client records of services performed
• Create excellent experience for clientele through friendly and helpful attitude
• Help maintain professionalism and cleanliness of therapy rooms and common areas

Position Requirements:

• Must adhere to local and state licensing laws and regulations
• Must carry liability insurance
• Knowledge of Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage required
• Knowledge of other various modalities preferred
• Must be customer service oriented and able to communicate effectively with clients and other therapists and business professionals
• Able to work flexible days and hours
• Understands and believes in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork

Job Types: Full-time, Part Time

Salary: $20,000.00 to $50,000.00 /year

Experience: Massage Therapy: 1 year (Preferred)

Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License: License and Certification in Massage Therapy (Required)
